Today is the day all of you have been patiently waiting for...
The very first beta release of this mod :)

i have not much to say about it other than i and my team am very happy that we have made it to the first release and hope that many more will come with the not so distant future.

for now all just head over to the download section of the website and grab your own copy of the mod release and live yourself out ;)

14/12/06 - It's boom time
With the beta just weeks away we have some new stuff to show you.

This time we have couple of units that are specialized for destruction, the Sapper infantry and the M.O.L.E. Bomb.
First little bit more about the Sappers, a highly specialized infantry with only one thing in mind the demolition, Sappers can lay/clear minefields, place remote and timed demo charges on buildings as well as booby traps, also they can do a quick TNT attack against enemy vehicles if need for this arise but its best to keep your sappers out of trouble.


And now a unit that will give those turtlers a lot of headaches the M.O.L.E. Bomb, a highly specialized weapon, once deployed the M.O.L.E. Bomb will burrow underground until it explodes directly below it's target causing extensive damage. Until deployed however it is both slow and vulnerable to attack. M.O.L.E. Bomb will take out almost any building with just one shot and its also very effective against large groups of units clamped together, but you must reload it every time and this costs 4000$ so choose your targets carefully.


The Spy Plane is used to scout unexplored terrain and to observe enemy movements far behind the front lines. Once assigned its target, the spy plane takes off and climbs quickly out of range of all ground based air defences. Best used to find targets for your Avengers or to track down stealth units, keep in mind that enemy Gunships and Birds of Prey can shot down your Spy Planes so use them carefully.


And the last thing we got for you today is the N.O.R.A.D. Robo-Turret, a logical step up from the guard tower, the Robo-Turret offers a completely automated ground defense capability. Any enemy units straying into range will be automatically attacked by its high speed multi-barrel mini-gun. Highly effective against infantry and light vehicles.

02/12/06 - Big media update
Last week we were little to busy and we didn't have time for new updates, but this time we're going to make up for that.
First we want to show you two units that will be essential for your airdefense the Mobile SAM and Mobile Radar.
Now little more about these two, mobile SAMs are armed with powerful long range SAM missiles that will take down most air units in no time and mobile radars are used help out your SAMs to take care of those treats at their max range, also they can detect stealth units like stealth bombers.

next two units we got for you today are NORAD armored personnel carriers the APC and the Otter. APCs strong armor together with its high speed will ensure that your infantry will get there fast and in one piece, it can transport six units, the Otter is somewhat specialized transport as it lacks the armor protection the APC offers but it compensates for that with its high speed and the amphibious ability it can transport only four troops.

last thing we got for you today are two NORAD buildings the Airfield and Repair Depot.

16/11/06 - Air support has arrived, special media update
today we have a special media update for you,
first we want to show you two N.O.R.A.D. helis the Gunship and Transport chopper, and now some info about these two birds:

Gunship


Cost: $4000
Build at : Airfield
Weapon: AT Guided Missiles, Heat seaking Anti-air Missiles, Machinegun

Description:

Probably the most flexible airborne unit, the gunship combines relatively strong armor with decent top speed to produce strike package that can attack virtually any target on land, sea or in the air. It is only let down by it's limited fuel endurance.

Transport chopper


Cost: $2500
Build at : Airfield
Weapon: None

Description:

The airborne equivalent of the APC, the transport chopper has the obvious benefit of being able to cross any terrain quickly and easily. It is highly vulnerable to both ground defences and other aircraft and is best used closely escorted by gunships.

and now the reason why this media update is so special, we want to show you the unique feature of WarGames ZH mod, all N.O.R.A.D. units and structures, with exception of infantry and ships, will get appropriate camouflage depending on the map you're playing. So if you are playing the desert map your units will get desert camo or winter camo if you are on a snow map and standard green camo on other maps. And just to get the idea how all this will look like here's a few renders of Gunship with all tree camo patterns.

11/11/06 - WarGames ZH Launches
Hello all site visitors today is the day this mod has gone public and we all welcome you :)

we have been developing this mod for abit more than half a year now and are getting close to our first beta release featuring the complete N.O.R.A.D. team as playable side.

To start off with the mod we have 4 new Screenshots, 15 Renders, 1 wallpaper in different sizes and a fully detailed unit database of all N.O.R.A.D weapons and buildings for you to look at which can be found at the Mod Info page and Image gallery. if you want to comment on our work or read more info on the mod check the about page on our website and if you want to comment on our work we'd be happy to listen what you want to say on our forum :)
